Hobbies/Interests: Everything textiles: spinning, dyeing, weaving, knitting, crochet, kumihimo, embroidery, research... if it's string, I'll play! Founder of the Atlantian spinning guild, the Company of the Silver Spindle, which now has a chapter in the West Kingdom. I'm also going back to school to obtain by BS in Nursing from Western Carolina University. In whatever spare time I have left, I enjoy spending time with my loving husband, Ben and reading, writing articles on textiles and doing research, gardening and herbalism, Celtic studies, playing and listening to music, drinking fine wines and margaritas, playing with my kids (an Akita, a Corgi, and three cats), catching up on my sleep, and enjoying the company of my friends.

Date of Birth: In the fall, sometime in the late 9th century.
Occupation: Spinner, gardener, healer for the "cloister" of St. Brigid.
Place of Origin: Kildare, Ireland. She was captured in a Viking raid when traveling near the coast, and has been giving them trouble ever since. She took a fancy to one named Helfdane, and has been sailing the seas with him in search of silks, dyes, and good company.

Interests in the Society

Teaching and learning all forms of the textile arts, and organizing collegiums to share the light of A&S with others. I also study herbalism, lampworking, woodworking, cooking, judging competitions, MOLing, and assisting wherever I'm needed.
